BCU23 25092018 Crimes Against Older Persons

BCU23 25092018 – This message is sent at the request of the Crown Prosecution Service and Senior Police Officers across the Force.

The Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) have launched a public consultation on the revised public policy guidance on Crimes Against Older People.

The policy guidance has been developed in partnership with two National Scrutiny Panels, which consist of members with experience and expertise from a community and academic perspective.

In advance of its finalisation, we would welcome views on five specific questions regarding the policy guidance. Any other comments outside these questions are also welcome.

The consultation can be found on the CPS website at: https://www.cps.gov.uk/consultation/public-consultation-crimes-against-older-people-policy-guidance and will run until 28 October 2018. The final policy guidance will be published later in the year.

Altered train services affecting stops at Templecombe.

Hayward Burt
September 24 at 8:59 AM
Engineering Works mean changes to Trains services from Templecombe from Monday 24 September for 7 weeks.

Between Monday 24 September and Saturday 10 November inclusive there will be fewer station stops than normal at Templecombe – this is because the limited speed of trains in the Axminster area affects the timings of services at the passing locations on single track sections of the route.

Info below from South West Railways Website. Please check for any changes

Monday 24 September to Saturday 10 November (inclusive)

Most services will be retimed by a few minutes and some calls at both Feniton and Templecombe will be replaced by buses connecting at nearby stations.

The Monday to Friday changes are as follows:

Most of the alterations will be re-timing of train services, but to maintain the timetable we will need to take station stops out of some trains and replacement buses will run for these stations. The trains which will be affected are:

0823 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will not call at Templecombe
0925 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will not call at Templecombe
1125 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will not call at Templecombe
1325 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will not call at Templecombe
1525 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will not call at Templecombe
1624 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will not call at Templecombe
1725 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will not call at Templecombe
1925 Exeter St Davids to London Waterloo will not call at Templecombe

Where trains do not call at a station as above, a replacement bus will connect out of the train at the previous station and a bus will leave the station earlier than normal to connect into the train at the next station.

On-line booking websites should have the correct times

Weekends between 29 September and 4 November inclusive

Every weekend in this period will be affected by changed train times and reduced station calls. Several other weekends in this period have other engineering works between Exeter and Waterloo which will require other changes to train times:
