Hurray ! Flag mystery solved !

Good News !  We still have our flag !   It has somehow come off the ropes and is lying concealed at the top of the tower.

We are getting someone to climb on the tower roof to collect it and re -thread the ropes though the pulley wheel.

Many thanks

Sue Fitzmaurice

Birthday Party

Richard and Fiona Swallow have asked that following messages is posted on the village blog.

“The Swallows will be having a party to celebrate one of their children’s birthdays on the evening of Sunday 1st July 2018. There will be music from approx 10pm until midnight . We very much hope that this does not cause inconvenience – the bass will be turned down as low as possible which it is hoped will prevent the sound travelling too far.”
Kind regards,
Richard and Fiona Swallow

Thursday Craft Session – 7 June

This month we are again meeting at Overdale, Hardings Lane, North Cheriton to share craft ideas and to knit and sew,  helped along with tea and biscuits.

This month, as a trial, we shall be meeting at 2.30 in the afternoon.  Apologies to those who will find the timing difficult but it does mean that those who need their beauty sleep will not have to be late to bed !

We shall be having a count up of the premature baby bonnets which you have been knitting.

Please come along and join us !
